I sell a product or service – can I have an event and sell my product?: These types of sales are not allowed on town property. You can give out business cards, flyers, brochures, door prize giveaways and free samples; however no means of purchase is allowed.

Parks & Recreation Facility Use

1. Can I rent a room at the Civic Center or Library?: Yes. Please contact the Parks & Recreation department at 928-759-3090 to check on availability and processing of the reservation.

2. Are room rentals at the Civic Center/Library available on a weekend?: The Civic Center is closed on the weekends. Library rooms can be rented on Saturdays.

3. Can I reserve Theater of the Green for a performance or other type of event?: Yes, use is based on an approval of a Special Event Application, a certificate of general liability insurance naming the Town of Prescott Valley as the additional insured and payment in full of required deposits and rental fees.

4. If we reserve the greenspace or the Theater on the Green for an event on a weekend, are we going to be allowed access to the Civic Center restrooms?: No, as the event organizer you will have to provide port-a-lets.

5. Is electricity available?: Yes, subject to approval of a Special Event Application.

6. Are the facilities available for rent on holidays?: Civic Center and Library rooms, no. Civic Center Amphitheater and grounds, yes on a limited basis and with the approval of a Special Event Application.

7. We are a non-profit organization, what is the process for requesting waiving of rental fees for the use of the facilities?: Waiver of fees is the same for non-profit organizations as it is for the general public.
Fee waiver requests must be written and received 60 days prior to use and can only be approved by the Prescott Valley Town Council.

9. I have a new business – can I invite the public to a demonstration in the Crystal Room?: Yes, as long as there are no sales of products or services.
