1. How do I reserve a Ramada?

2. How far in advance do I need to make my ramada reservation?

For a simple picnic of fewer than 50 in attendance, it is recommended at least one week in advance.

3. What are the fees to reserve ramadas?

4. Do the ramadas have electricity?

5. Can I put up a volleyball net or croquet hoops?

It is not permitted to drive stakes or poles of any kind into the turf or grounds at town parks.

6. Do the parks have BBQ grills?

No, the parks do not have BBQ grills as there is no method for safe disposal of charcoal or wood debris at the parks. This is especially important during the fire restriction periods. Please see the Central Yavapai Fire District's website for more information and dates for fire restrictions.

7. Can I bring a grill to the park for our picnic?

Yes, you can bring your own gas or propane grill provided it has a lid and a grease catch pan.

8. Can I reserve a park exclusively for an event?

Town parks are open to the public during regular operating hours. However, you can make arrangements to hold a special event at a park. Contact the Parks & Recreation department at 928-759-3090 for availability. Click below to download and review the towns Special Event Application form.

9. What is your refund policy for cancellations?

All cancellations must be made to the Department of Parks and Recreation. A full refund of all fees and charges paid shall be initiated by the Town of Prescott Valley, provided that the event is cancelled no later than five (5) business days prior to the reserved date (unless otherwise expressly authorized therein). All refunds will be paid out by check and mailed. If the event is cancelled less than 5 business days prior to the reserved date, all fees and charges will be forfeited.

10. I have a reservation for a Ramada but someone is using it and won’t leave. What do I do?

Permit holders are encouraged to show their permit and ask others to leave. If they refuse to leave the permit holder is encourage to utilize the phone number on the back of their receipt that will send an officer to resolve the issue. If you are not in possession of the receipt the office will not be of assistance.
